Our mandate is to develop and offer innovative health promotion, prevention strategies, and support services to assist BC residents make the best decisions regarding gambling.
Gambling Support BC (GSBC) is a provincial government program that serves three main functions:
- Providing direct support services through the Gambling Support Line and counselling
- Providing education and awareness resources for educators
- Advising on the regulation of the gambling industry
Why does GSBC do this work?
Gambling can impact people across British Columbia in a variety of ways. GSBC provides support to those affected by gambling to ensure they receive the help they need.
